[ad_1]

Bromley residents can use a calendar on the council’s website to check the revised collection dates.

Collections from December 26 to December 29 will be two days later, as well as from January 2 to January 5.

Collections due on December 30 on January 6 will take place three days later, with those due from January 9 to January 13 being collected one day later.

People looking to dispose of their real Christmas trees can cut them up and place them in their garden waste bin.

Residents can also recycle their real trees at the Waldo Road and Churchfields Road reuse and recycling centres, which are closed on December 25, December 26 and January 1.

Those using these centres are asked to bring their waste disposal permit with them.

Temporary green garden waste sites will also run in the New Year, open from 11am to 4pm on January 7 and 8am to 12 noon on January 8.

Sites open on January 7 include Norman Park in Bromley, Salt Depot on Shire Lane Spur, and in Cotmandene Crescent car park in St Paul’s Cray.

Centres on January 7 will include Charles Darwin School in Biggin Hill and Unicorn Primary School car park in Beckenham. Residents are reminded to remove all decorations from their tree before taking it to the waste sites.

Bin collection dates over the Christmas and New Year period can be checked on the council website.
