The Mandalorian: Pedro Pascal Wants To End Star Wars Show With Film

[ad_1]

Pedro Pascal, the star of The Mandalorian reveals that he would be interested in ending the Star Wars show with a film.

Following a polarizing Sequel Trilogy, Lucasfilm continues to focus on television when it comes to Star Wars. Although both The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi received mixed reviews, The Mandalorian remains universally praised from critics and fans alike. So much so, that this has led to the possibility of seeing the shows set within the timeline of series culminating into some sort of epic event. While this event would likely be a Disney Plus original, some have expressed interest in seeing a big screen story featuring characters from these series.

The Mandalorian already has Season 3 on the horizon, and many are excited to see what journey is in store for Din Djarin, with some hopeful for a story on the big screen. While at the D23 Expo, Rick Famuyiwa and Pedro Pascal were approached about the possibility of the series factoring into a future Star Wars film. The duo spoke with Fandango:

Rick Famuyiwa: “You’re coming at us hard. Yeah, that’s something I don’t know anything about.”

Pedro Pascal: “I’ll answer for him. Yes, he wants to… Yes, he wants to, and that’s a great idea, and if it isn’t a conversation already, then it will be after today.”

Here is the synopsis for Pedro Pascal’s Star Wars series:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travels of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic….

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano ahead of her spin-off series. The project was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with episodes directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers, and Robert Rodriguez.

The Mandalorian’s first two seasons are available to stream on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming season, along with the return of Pedro Pascal to the Star Wars universe, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
