Mino Raiola explains Borussia Dortmund stance on Erling Haaland transfer amid Man Utd link

Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell Erling Haaland this summer, according to the player’s agent Mino Raiola. Manchester United are strongly linked with a move to sign the Norway international. Haaland is also attracting interest from Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Haaland has scored 34 goals in 33 appearances in his first full season at Dortmund.

The 20-year-old became the fastest player to 20 career Champions League goals earlier this term, reaching the feat in just 14 games.

Haaland has a release clause of around £65million (€75m) which comes into effect in the summer of 2022.

So clubs are looking to make a move a year early to beat rivals to his signature, with Dortmund valuing the player at around £130m.

Meanwhile, West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady claims agent fees could cause a stumbling block over a move for Haaland this summer.

“Make no mistake about it, money is the critical factor,” Brady wrote in her column for The Sun.

“Daddy Haaland and his Italian mate are looking for, it is reported, £25m each in agent fees.

“Should this or the transfer fee prove beyond the reach of clubs, then Erling will remain at Borussia Dortmund for a season more.

“Dortmund spotted a big earner by astute operation in the teen market.”
