Heat fans can’t stop talking about Kyle Lowry. Raptors fans don’t want to hear it

It didn’t take long for Kyle Lowry to endear himself with Miami Heat fans.

After just a couple of pre-season games, the former Toronto Raptors guard and fan favourite has made quite the first impression in South Beach.

If social media reaction is any indication, Lowry, who signed a three-year, $90 million (U.S.) deal with the Heat this past off-season, has had no troubles fitting in with a new team and new city.

The transition appears to be a difficult one for Raptors fans as they watch from afar while Heat supporters tweet about their new point guard. Lowry helped bring a championship to Toronto and is largely seen as the greatest Raptor of all-time.

So while Heat fans are tweeting things like, “Spoelstra got Kyle Lowry looking like prime Steve Nash,” Raptors fans are left saying, “Is this a joke?”
