Western Australia has taken home two from three Division One prizes in tonight’s $15 million OZ Lotto jackpot.
WA’s winning tickets, each worth a staggering $5 million, were sold at Beeliar Village Newspower and through a Lotterywest membership online.
The third winner, also worth $5 million, was won in Victoria.
Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said this was an incredible win for WA.
“This is an exciting moment as not only have we produced two winners tonight, these prizes are also WA’s second largest for the year,” she said.
“It follows a $30 million win on OZ Lotto in February.”
Tonight’s news brings the State’s tally of Division One winners so far this year to 26, who have shared in almost $66.5 million worth of prizes.
A further 38,643 WA players picked up an OZ Lotto prize across the other Divisions tonight.
The next big draw is just around the corner, with this weekend’s $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.
Tickets are available until 6pm Saturday from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
Thanks to support for those players that purchased tickets in tonight’s OZ Lotto jackpot, close to $1 million is expected to be returned to the WA community.
