Three houses destroyed in night of fires

Three homes have been destroyed by fire in separate blazes across WA overnight.

A two-storey property in Darlington in the Perth Hills was the first to be engulfed in flames about 9.20pm.

The Glen Road home was fully engulfed by flames when fire crews arrived, with the ferocious fire taking 45 minutes to get under control.

Less than an hour later, crews were called to a property in the Mandurah suburb of Meadow Springs which was reported as being on fire from 10.15pm.

It took crews 20 minutes to control the fire

Police also attended and what sparked the blaze is still being investigated.

In regional WA, a home on Craiggie Street in Laverton has also been gutted after a fire.

Police attended all three fires and the cause of them remains unknown and under investigation.
