Man airlifted to RPH after Channybearup crash

A motorist has been airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital after a crash in the South West.

The man was driving along Stirling Road in the rural town of Channybearup when his car smashed into a tree just before 8am.

He was left trapped and injured inside until the arrival of emergency services.

The West Australian was told he suffered injuries to his legs.

He was flown to RPH in the RAC Rescue helicopter.
