South east London Wetherspoons pub where ‘atmosphere is alive’ named in UK top 20

The Brockley Barge, in Brockley Road, was recognised in a list compiled by the Express based on TripAdvisor reviews.
It was scored four stars out of a possible five and given 71 reviews where 28 of them were branded as “excellent”.
One reviewer wrote: “I should visit more often. Probably the best ‘Spoons in SE London.
“Very difficult to ever fault the quality of the real ale and I always find the staff happy, obliging, working as a team, I suspect it comes from the manager at the top then downwards.”
Another commented: “Always, a pleasant time here. You may have to search for seating as it can get quite busy, but the atmosphere is alive. All ages frequent this venue.”
Two other London pubs have also been listed among the best, which are Goodmans Field and the Liberty Bound.
A total of 836 Wetherspoons pubs are believed in the UK, according to Scrapehero.
