French cultural institutions open doors to public for European Heritage Days – France 24

Hundreds of cultural instutitions in France are opening their doors to the public for European Heritage Days, a tradition that began in the country nearly 40 years ago and has since spread to 50 other nations. Among them is the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris, which is home to more than a thousand rarely seen works of art.
