As she was accused of being rude to Gizelle’s daughter, Grace, 17, at Gizelle’s driveway event on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Wendy took to her social media account to call out her RHOP co-star for failing to check on her as her two-year-old daughter was fighting for her life in the ICU and explain why she was giving such looks at Gizelle’s event.
“I find it very disheartening, that when my 2-year-old was fighting for her life in the ICU for a week you [Gizelle Bryant] were the ONLY one of my [RHOP] castmates who did not text, call, nothing. Instead, you went on [The Real] & shaded me while I was at my lowest point,” Wendy wrote on November 14.
After putting Gizelle on blast for her lack of compassion, Wendy apologized to Grace, as she did during the episode in question. She said that the faces she was making were not aimed at Grace, but rather they were the result of the frustration she was feeling after being kicked out of the event.
“I am a mother first. I firmly believe children are off limits. If Grace was hurt I apologize,” Wendy wrote. “As the clip shows, my facial expression was a reflection of just being kicked out of the event and I was visibly upset. Our issues have nothing to do with your daughter.”
Also on Twitter, Karen Huger seemingly agreed with an RHOP viewer, who shaded Gizelle as “so damn fake” and suggested she was only playing nice with Karen because Karen is currently at the forefront of the series.
“Gizelle so damn fake. She is only trying to attach herself to Karen because the Grand Dame is owning the show now,” the person had written.
“Chile,” Karen replied.
