Weeks after confirming their romance, the duo jetted Down Under to see the sights – and they look more loved-up than ever.
Stause, 40, and the musician – real name Georgia Flipo, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns – have already visited the iconic Taronga Zoo, where the Netflix star shared a video of herself petting a kangaroo. Watch above.
The couple have also taken in the sights of Sydney Harbour with a boat ride, while, of course sampling an Aussie delicacy: Tim Tams.
“OK so, I’m about to try a Tim Tam for the first time, apparently this is a big Australian thing. Never have had it. I’m very Australian right now,” Stause said in an Instagram Story.
“Oh my God. It’s so good. Why don’t we have this? Guys, we got to get with it. This is so good.”
The holiday comes after the reality TV star confirmed she was dating the 27-year-old Aussie singer on the Season 5 reunion special of her show, Selling Sunset.
“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me,” she said on the show.
“Their name is G Flip. They’re nonbinary, so they go by they/them. And they are an extremely talented musician.”
Upon seeing her castmates’ shocked reaction, Stause explained that “nothing has really changed” in terms of her sexuality since they began dating.
“I’m still very attracted to masculine energy and a good human. I hear people talk about these things and they’re like, ‘I knew from a young age.’ That’s not me. I’m very open to good energy and I don’t know what my future holds,” she told the group.
The couple’s romance began after Stause appeared on G Flip’s music video for ‘Get Me Outta Here’, which came five months after her split from Selling Sunset castmate Jason Oppenheim.
Stause – who is also an actress who has starred in US soaps such as All My Children and Days of Our Lives – was also married to This Is Us actor Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2019.
Last week, it was G Flip shed more light on how their romance flourished, telling the People Every Day podcast that they met last year on Halloween.
“We were both with our ex-partners then … And then, we obviously separated from our partners, and we just started talking and stuff,” they explained.
“We just found a lot of similarities, even though people would think we are from like different corners of the world. We find ourselves so similar sometimes.”
