Sarah Jessica Parker’s heartwarming tribute to late stepfather
Sarah Jessica Parker has paid tribute to her stepfather after he died suddenly on Wednesday.
The Sex and the City actress had been attending an event held in her honour when she heard the news, departing New York City Ballet’s 10th Annual Fall Fashion Gala just moments after pulling up.
It was later revealed that her stepfather, Paul Giffin Forste, who had married her mother, Barbara, in 1969, had died.

Now two days later, the actress posted a black and white photo of him, along with an emotional caption.
“Paul Giffin Forste 1946-2022 Godspeed. RIP Strong like a bull. Til the end,” Parker wrote.
“At home and among all those who loved you dearly, you will be missed always. We will take good care of Mommy, who you worshipped for 54 years. X, SJ”.
In a statement her representatives made to People, the actress said, “Our family is sad to announce that after an unexpected and rapid illness, Paul Giffin Forste passed away yesterday at age 76.”
