Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice are both attending BravoCon this weekend in New York City. But Real Housewives of New Jersey fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for reconciliation.

While walking the red carpet at the festivities of opening day on Friday, Joe shared his thoughts on a possible run-in with his estranged sister, accused her of starting their feud on Watch What Happens Live, and admitted that their tension is at an all-time high.

“It’s not good. It’s really not,” Joe shared during an October 14 interview with Access Hollywood. “I feel like I went back to when we first got on the show, and you feel tension. I don’t wanna feel the tension like that at 48 years old. I just wanna be happy. But unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way.”

According to Joe, the drama between him and Teresa started when she appeared on WWHL and announced she’d be leaving his wife, Melissa Gorga, out of the bridal party of her and Luis Rules’ wedding.

“She just planted the seed, and she didn’t have to do that. I didn’t want to go down that road, and it’s her decision,” he stated. “I love her. It’s my sister, and unfortunately, it just went a lot worse.”

In fact, Joe said his feud with Teresa is the worst it’s ever been.

“There’s always been a lot going on at home, and I’ve been dealing with this as long as I’ve been here, for 13 years, so it’s so difficult, and it just, right now, feels like the worst it’s ever been cuz now we’re older. We’re smarter, and you feel like we should be past this, and we’re not,” he admitted.

As for Teresa wishing Joe had been at her wedding, noting that he is her “only family member,” Joe said he too wished he was there.

“I wish I was there, too, I just really wish everything was normal, and it wasn’t so complicated,” he explained. “I have a heart of gold, and I wanna just love. I don’t like to argue with anyone.”

Also, during the interview, Joe said that when it comes to the husbands being the stars of RHONJ, the ladies often “get mad.”

“We steal the thunder,” he explained. “We take action. It is what it is. Humor is everything. It just feels right.”

And Joe Benigno agreed, saying, “The girls just fight, and we just love each other.”

Benigno went on to say that he and his wife, Margaret Josephs, have been “adopted” by Joe and Melissa.

“We don’t have a giant family. They have a giant family. We are part of their family now, it’s wonderful,” he gushed. “[But] I’m the parent. [And we’re a] bad influence [on one another].”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2023.
